Redding Regional Science Bowl 2012

The Redding Regional Science Bowl was held at Simpson University on Saturday, February 25th, 2012.

In the semi-final round between Chico 1 and Chico 2, Chico 1 loses its first game, forcing a double-elimination final match.

With under 2 minutes in the game, Chico 1 was winning 44-42 going in to the final question. With only seconds to spare, Chico 2 answers the final question correctly and wins the 2012 Redding Regional Science Bowl and will go on to represent the North State at the National Science Bowl Competition in Washington D.C.
