What You Need to Know
With the APP you will still receive a statement each month, but your payment will be taken out of your bank/credit union account automatically. The payment will be deducted on your bill due date or a date you select. Sign up now by completing the steps listed below.
How to Sign Up:
- Write "VOID" on one of your checks from the financial account you want debited.
- Fill out the enrollment form by clicking on Automated Payment Plan or contact the Utility Customer Services office at 530.339.7200 or toll free 866.267.8845 for an enrollment form.
- Mail your completed application and voided check with your next payment or mail it separately. You may also drop your application off at the Utility Customer Service Payment Center.
Note: Allow 6 - 8 weeks for the first deduction. Check your billing statement to verify that your APP service has been started. When the plan has started your statement will read "DO NOT PAY".
